What A Boring Design In 2011 Jewelry Design

It is understandable that people are talking more about saving the money during the stressing economics. It happens in the fashion world at the similar way. The designer try to reduce the material, especially the precious metal and stone like gold, during the design. However, it has no way to simplify the design and make the boring designs for customers. How To Clean And Store Silk Scarves

Happy to share those tips on how to clean, wash and store your beautiful silk scarves.

Silk Scarf Storage

  • Unfold it first if there is a knot on the scarf;
  • Flatten and fold neatly in the wardrobe;
  • Don’t put heavy clothes on the scarf to avoid the hard wrinkle.

Silk Scarf Clean and Wash

  • Clean the silk scarf after using it several times;
  • Hand wash is highly recommended for its delicacy except your washing machine has a silk setting. Don’t wash with excessive clothes together, or silk scarves could be deformed from the intertwining with other clothing.
  • If dirty from tea or juice, soak the scarf with neutral detergent solution or 10% acetic acid diluted solution; if from the lipsticks, the warm soap solution or a little gasoline could work; If blood, the warm soap water or ammonia liquid can do the job; If ink, put a little cooked rice on the stain, wipe the rice with a cloth repeatedly, and then rinse with clean water.
  • Air dry silk scarf in the shade. Do not expose the silk scarf in the sunlight, or it will turn yellow or fade.
  • Press the silk scarf only when it is really necessary. Set the Iron to the silk setting or the low temperature and cover the silk scarf with a piece of cloth during pressing. A fast and gentle movement is suggested for pressing.

How to Wash, Press, Store Neckties

Washing Recommendation
The neckties could have wrinkles if cleaning by water. The reason is that the necktie fabric and the lining materials are different. Also, it can bring the damage to the glossy surface so the water cleaning is not recommended for neckties. The dry cleaning is highly recommended, especially for silk ties. The knot tying section is vulnerable to dirt. If it does have, put it into the pot filled with gas and hand wash or brushing. If dirty on other parts, scrub with a cloth which is dipped with gas.

Washing Solution
If you would like doing dry cleaning yourself, you can use ethyl alcohol or gas or neutral soft soap.

Washing
Soak the necktie into the above solution for 5 – 10 minutes and rub the dirty spot very gently only if it is very dirty. Rinse completely with clean water and hang it in the shade of light until dry.

The stains are very hard to clean in a certain condition. Here are some tips you can try:

1. Printing ink
Put a mixture of soap and gas on the dirty spot and gently scrub. Then, wash with soap water and rinse with clean water. After washing in the soap water, the oil should be cleaned. If the stained color is still there, a bleaching process should be done after that. Bleach powder works for most fabrics except silk and the special powder is needed to clean the colored stain for silk.

2. Blood and milk
The grinded carrot with a little salt is a cure for the blood and milk stains on the neckties. Gently rub with that mixture and rinse with clean water.

3. Coffee and Tea

If you got coffee or tea on the necktie, you could wash immediately with warm water. If the stain has been dried, you need do more work. Put the mixed solution of glycerol and egg yolk on the dirty spot, wait a while until a bit dry, and then wash with clean water.

Necktie Pressing
Before pressing, make a necktie shape cardboard and insert into the lining to avoid the hard wrinkle at the edge. The cover cloth is recommended during the pressing. Also, the low temperature is preferred with a fast ironing speed which can avoid turning silk fabric in yellow color from the heat. If only a little wrinkle, you can tightly roll the necktie round a clean bottle. Next day, the wrinkle will be disappeared.

Necktie Storage
Neckties should not be exposed to strong sun shine to prevent yellowing fade. The storage space should be dry without mothball. Before storage, pressing is recommended in order to kill germs. Hang neckties with hangers and cover it with an anti-dust bag.

a. Wrap scarves around your neck and two ends cross each other. The left end is above the right one.

b.The right end goes through the interval following the arrow direction.

Tip: This scarf knot gives you a rebellion spirit. Try and see how cool it is.

2. Symmetric scarf knot

b. Wrap the longer end around the neck and go through the interspace as in figure.

3. Necktie scarf knot

b. Take the right end and wrap the left end with a full round.

c. Put the right end through the loop as in figure.

Tip: If not sure how to wear scarves with this knot, ask your husband or your friends how to tie a necktie. This scarf knot is good for a thinner scarf, such as silk scarves, either big square silk scarves or small square silk scarves.

4. Small butterfly scarf knot

1. wrap around the neck in a loop and make a knot with crossing each other.

2. Make an adjustment for the previous knot and make the second knot as in the picture.

Tip: This way is very easy and time saving. Try and make yourself more beautiful.
